My life has been boring, aside from having attended MegaCon 2013 in Orlando, FL exactly one week ago! I went on a Friday, because my schedule was very tight, and going on Saturday was out of the question. I'll have more to say in my next journal entry (which I'll get around to later tonight when I have a few minutes to write about the whole thing).
Same old, same old.

I've been taking a break from DA for a while. A little too long, actually, since I've been busy with a full time job and grad school 2.0. Yes, I have finally returned to grad school after a two-year long battle with depression, and this time, I believe I will succeed and get that Master's degree I've been pursuing for far too long. I'm only going to school part time, as I have a full time job that takes up most of my life now. (I guess if you listen to Huey Lewis & The News's "Hip to be Square", the lyrics pretty much sum up what's been going on in my life ^^; )

Post-college adulthood has hit me full force over the past two weeks. I've moved back in with my parents for the time being, and I'm working a temporary full-time job until I land one that's not temporary. I'm planning on starting school again in the summer at a different institution, because the school I left is unwilling to help me reverse my problem. I'd go on a rant about disablist discrimination, but I won't go there. Word from the wise, DON'T EVER EVER EVER GO TO GRADUATE SCHOOL FULL TIME. IT WILL KILL YOU. Just one or two classes a semester is all you need. Any more than that and you're just asking for a death wish. In the meantime I

Just haven't had much to do here, that's all. ANYWAYS, here's a little update on what I've been up to:
I'm taking a break from graduate school for a little while longer. I'll be attempting to apply to other schools for the following Fall semester, but for right now, I need to take my mind off it. After all the crap I've been through battling depression and dealing with trying to fix my academic problems, I need some time away from it. I'm not going to rant about it further, because it's only going to upset me; I've been having a great day today, and I don't want to ruin it.
